This family was relocating from Northern California to sunny LA and brought some of their heavier NorCal furniture with them. The task was to find to put a LA twist on their existing rustic pieces. We did this by bringing in some authentic mid-century modern pieces as well as a few other modern elements to mix in. I didn't want to do away with the rustic-industrial nature of what they brought with them since these were the things that told their story. The goal was to add to their story and show the family's journey of planting new roots in Southern California.
